SS17 Selects
Perusing through Street Style sites as I usually spend at least a little of my Sunday doing I came across some pieces that I thought I'd share. By now, you should know I wear Black and White - almost exclusively. If you didn't know - there are always some exceptions to that rule especially really good denim. Spring is here and I am happy :) I was asked recently what my #1 RULE IS TO DRESS WELL THIS SPRING after thinking about (and asking myself why I get asked questions like this...eh) I decided my answer really isn't about just "this spring" as I am a creature of the non-trendy yet stylish breed with a self-style that doesn't just exist in a vacuum of the current season. So my advice to all would be, no matter what you wear: Make sure it's clean, spotless, and has no wrinkles. Presentation is everything and even the cutest outfits can be thrown to the critical fashion-hounds if they aren't pressed, polished, and without wearing your streaks of deodorant. :)
Denim Romper
Love this Denim Romper by A.OK. The light wash and raw hem would make it look oh so cute over a bathing suit with a baseball cap. Could go to night: iif you pair it with some nice strappy heels and maybe even some sheer socks. Visit OAK NYC to buy.
Slouch Shirt with Distressed Jeans.
Because I'm all about transitional multi-purpose items, in order to lighten my weekend getaway bag, and maximize the opportunity of each garment in said bag. This slouch shirt by Oak is brilliant. Can wear it to work. Can wear it to dinner with friends. Can pair it with raw hem jeans, a baseball cap, and my black suede Adidas and I'm happy. $160 on OAK website.
FORGET THE RULES
except for the must be clean, stain free, and pressed or wrinkle less as that's an all time deal breaker.
Extra long collared shirt in silk is a summer MUST. Dress it up or dress it down. Wear it with your black Samba;'s or add raw hem skinnys and your peep toe suede platform heels. Versatile and Beautiful. Just the way I like it.
