We all carry stories. The experiences that we have are what make us who we are. Goodbye Animals is a hand illustrated series of six nearly extinct or endangered animals created in 2016.

Meet Goodbye Elephant. Goodbye Elephant carries the story of both African and Asian elephants within his borders. Elephants are known as the lord of beginnings, remover of obstacles, and symbols of good fortune. 

Did you know:

• African elephants are the largest land mammal on earth and they weigh up to 8 tons. 

• All African elephants have tusks, however only some Asian elephants have tusks. African elephants are either right or left tusked - just like we are either right or left handed.

• Male elephants tend to be introverts and solitary while female elephants are led by a matriarch and are organized into complex social structures of females and calves.

• Elephants are highly intelligent. If a group of elephants comes across elephant bones, they stop and pause to mourn. They are known to carry the bones of the dead elephants with them for some period of time.
